Single Card Discussion
The most popular card of J25 is Scythecat Cub, whose Bristly Bill impersonation carries a cuter creature type and a more aggressive base statline. The highest-rated card, Ivora, Insatiable Heir, is tested by significantly fewer people, but promises to bring mechanical novelty to an aggressive Red section. There are even new common cards for rarity-restricted designers, with Go Forth leading the pack.
Though most Jumpstart sets contain reprints, J25 is unique in offering updated art for many popular cube cards. Especially if anime is your thing, J25 might be worth a second look.
